Zero Garbage Drive

KPIT and Janwani (founded by MCCIA, meant for making Pune a better city) partnered with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), and other stakeholders to initiate the Zero Garbage Drive.

Rain Harvesting

KPIT in association with Jnana Prabodhini conducted a volunteer based drive to de-silt farm ponds across the villages. To perform this challenging task, 450 volunteering employees from KPIT contributed toward the de-silting of ponds for about six months starting January 2013. Read more >

Tree Plantation Programs

Our senior leadership team visited Rani Lakshmibai Girl’s Military School, Paud, Pune to kick start the “Sacred Forest Project“ by planting 100 saplings in school premises.

Conservation of Private Forests

In association with WRCS, we carried out the reforestation of 75 acres of private land of Koyna-Chandoli corridor. KPIT partnered with WRCS for sustainable management of private forests centered on scientific forestry.

In a bid to make Maharashtra a drought-free state by 2019, the Maharashtra government has initiated the project "Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan". As a socially responsible corporate, KPIT has decided to make villages water abundant & tanker free.

Marathon in U.S.

In August, the Raleigh team sponsored Small Hands Big Hearts United (SHBHU) first ever 5k /10k Run fundraiser. Funds raised by the each of the 150+ registered runners will be used for active SHBHU committees and Compassion Missions that are helping to nurture the instinctive compassion of children in the Raleigh area.
