We aim to transform lives of people in our community through science and technology education. We firmly believe that education can bring in long term transformation. The focus on science and technology is because of our belief that technology can change lives and that science brings in rational thinking.

Following are some of our key Education initiatives:

Chhote Scientists

In an effort to make science practical and interesting, we launched an initiative titled Chhote Scientists last year. This initiative bridges the gap between text book knowledge and real life applications by taking a practical oriented approach and thus making science fun to learn for children.

School Kit Drive

We have been working with Seva Sahayog, an umbrella organization of various NGOs, for the last five years. Seva Sahyog had conducted a survey to identify the reasons behind students dropping out of schools. One of the key reasons that came to light was the issue of affordability.

Teaching Classes at Thayimane, Bangalore

Thayimane is a humanitarian institute for orphans. There are 57 children fostered here. These children are orphans or have single parents who are not able to take care of them.

Techno Wolves Robotics Program North America

The Techno Wolves FIRST Robotics team is not like other organizations. Student participants possess a level of dedication to engineering that is rarely seen in high schools.

High School Tutoring

In continuation with our tutoring program for the Wake NCSU STEM Early College High School. Even for the FY15-16 we witnessed more number of Raleigh KPITes visit students needing support each week and provided tutoring services in Trigonometry, Algebra and Chemistry.

As students in North America returned to school this month, the Raleigh team ramped up involvement with North Carolina State University (NCSU); participating in both the NCSU Sr. Design program and several recruiting events came by specifically towards computer science majors.

On February 3, 2016, Raleigh KPITes attended the North Carolina State University Engineering Spring Career Fair and Expo. The team met with 200+ Computer Science undergraduate and graduate students. During the event, students shared details of their current and past projects as well as career aspirations while KPITes provided feedback and advised them.
