Mrs. Sindhutai Sapkal - The Mother of Orphans, an Indian social worker and social activist known particularly for her work for raising orphan children. She has nurtured over 1,050 orphaned children. She has been honored with over 273 awards for her dedication and work.
Mr. Divyanshu Ganatra, India's 1st Blind Solo paragliding pilot, a National Awardee for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, a clinical psychologist, adventure sportsperson by passion and a self-made social entrepreneur known particularly for his work for blind & differently abled people. He was also awarded “Ten Outstanding Young Indians Award”.
Shri. Sunil Deshpande, empowering the tribal communities to “Re-establish respect and Honor for Artisans in society” through a bamboo culture. So far, 5000 tribal youth have been trained and 20 similar centers are operating around the country. Awardees of “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Samaj Bhushan” award and “Shri Agrasen Maharaj Rashtriya Samman Puruskar” for Sampoorna Bamboo Kendra.
